This park is nice looking with lots of water access and great views, but it still is not my favorite. We were on the opposite end of the playground and planned to take our kids there via our golf cart. The park staff notified me there was a park rule that states golf carts are only for handicapped. I have yet to find this rule online. Also the fire ants were so bad on our spot we could not let our kids off the concrete/gravel.

Best campground ive ever stayed at! Came here as we were evacuating from Hurricane Irma and this place was incredibly hospitable! All the locals got together to do a pot luck for all the evacuees and give them essentials such as blankets, pillows, and toiletries! Such an amazing place will recommend to everyone I know! Not to mention very clean place with nice bathrooms, showers, and laundry. Pets welcome!

Love this place! Used to go with my grandparents as a kid, and was glad to be able to share it with my children!

One of the best campgrounds we have stayed at! The sites are huge and most are on the water. Along with a grill, picnic table, and firepit, the shore sites near the entrance also have both a wooden deck and a dock. So if you have any watercraft or even a canoe or kayak, this campground is ideal. We luckily wound up with the best site (22) with a huge deck with seating and a huge dock. The bathhouses are old and outdated and I probably wouldn't shower in them, but they work if you need them. Our kids loved the three playgrounds and the swimming area at the entrance, as well as bird watching in the little forests and the river. We'll definitely be camping here again soon!

Visit and stay a few days. Great campground, especially for a Corps of Engineers park.
